meet andie
Andie Pellicer (pronounced Pell-ih-sear) is a pastor whose passion and deep conviction are that everyone matters and everyone is welcome. Andie has been in vocational pastoral ministry for about ten years and now serves as the pastor of a Presbyterian PCUSA church in Eastern Oregon. She lives just over the state line in Washington with her husband Jeremy and their four daughters: Mae, Hazel, and identical twins Noelle and Evers.
Prior to being a lead pastor, Andie worked as a family pastor, a youth pastor, and a student ministries director. Andie has a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University.
Since Andie learned of our opening for a lead pastor, she’s spent time getting to know UBC, and what she’s learned stirred her soul. Andie connects with UBC’s perspective of no separation between the sacred and the secular, our celebration of being open and affirming towards the LGBTQIA+ community, and our heart for community and connection. In fact, she’s been attending UBC virtually since last fall.
Andie is open, honest, and prioritizes transparency and vulnerability in her life and ministry. As an extrovert, Andie finds beauty and fulfillment in building relationships with people from different backgrounds and stages of life, all who teach her something about the nature of God. As a pastor, she is highly collaborative and appreciates any opportunity to care for her team and congregation. Andie leans into their care, as well, and is looking for a church where she can share ministry, our real selves, and the graces and challenges of this journey.
In meeting with Andie, we’ve come face-to-face with an individual who cares deeply for others, who has a passion for the heart of UBC, and who cannot wait to be a part of our community.
Sincerely,
UBC Pastoral Search Committee
