October 27th // Wednesday: All Grade Groups! Youth Group HALLOWEEN PARTY!, UBC Building, 6pm-8pm. Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, there will be a costume contest!
+ Age-appropriate movie (not finalised yet, but something like Hocus Pocus on Disney+!)
+Costume Competition
+Candy (lots of)
+Various Games of different energy levelsIf you would like to help out at all, any candy donations would be incredibly appreciated!

5th & 6th Grader Updates
Reminder that there is no 5th & 6th grade youth group this Sunday October 31, as we are encouraging families to celebrate Halloween together.
All Souls Liturgy (11/2)
Join us for a time of remembrance of those who have gone before us on Tuesday, November 2 at 5:30pm. Childcare will be provided.
nUBC’ers Luncheon - November 7th, 12pm
Hello! We have seen a lot of new faces UBC over the past few months, and we would love the opportunity to get to know you, and and answer any questions you may have about the church. We will be hosting a new UBC’ers luncheon after church on Sunday, November 7th. If you started attending UBC during the pandemic, we would love for you to stay for lunch Sunday, November 7th. If you would like to come to lunch, please email toph@ubcwaco.org or sign-up in the foyer after church this week. When you email, please let me know any dietary restrictions or convictions, and how many people will be attending.
College Retreat - November 5-7 - $30
If you are a college student, or a recent graduate, we would love for you to join us for a our Fall Retreat coming up in a few weeks. We will head to a lake house in East TX to spend some time reflecting on how Christians engage with the world, and getting to know each other better. The cost of the retreat is $30, and includes all meals and lodging. If you don’t have the money, no worries, we have some generous folks who will help pay your way. Bonfire - November 7th - 5:30pm
It’s time to pretend it’s Fall in Texas once again. To kick off the season, we are going to have a bonfire at Kristin and Mike Dodson’s on Sunday night, November 7th. We will have s'mores and drinks for everyone, all we ask is you bring a chair or blanket to sit on. We would love to know if you are coming, but you can also decide last minute. Top(h) Golf Tuesday - November 2 and December 7 - 6-8pm
For the months of November and December, we will be doing Top(h) Golf Tuesdays on the first Tuesday of the month. UBC will reserve the bay(s) from 6-8pm, you just need to show up and have some fun. Look for Toph swinging away when you arrive, and get to know some other UBC’ers. This has been a fantastic time the last few months, you don't want to miss out.
