Hello UBC Family,
I hope you all had a great holiday weekend, and are looking forward to the Fall. Speaking of Fall, all of our groups at UBC, and volunteer opportunities, kick off this week. We have our Micasa’s, which are intergenerational community groups. We have a College Community Group, Women’s Group, LGBTQIA+ and Allies group, and a UBC Young Professionals group. We also have opportunities for you to volunteer in our Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, and with Cesar Chavez Middle School.
We would love to for you take a look at this form and find some ways to plug into the life of the church here at UBC. If you have any questions, please contact toph@ubcwaco.org.

Kids & Youth Volunteers: We’re still looking for a few great volunteers to help with our Kids and Youth Ministries this semester!

Leadership Team Nominations
We continue to seek Leadership Team nominations following the Aug. 14th bylaws change which removed the requirement that two members be university level students. If you nominated someone previously (in the last month), please know that we have these nominations and will consider them. We want to open up to more nominations in case anyone was unable to get their nomination in previously.
If you have questions about serving on Leadership Team and want to learn about what all is involved, please feel free to read our bylaws or email LeadershipTeam@UBCWaco.org. Nominations can be sent to our email address or to any of our staff members.
*Requirements are: Each member of Leadership Team shall have been a member of UBC for at least one year, exhibited an understanding and commitment to the mission and values of the church. Members shall be willing to fulfill all responsibilities in the Leadership Team job description.
